Staggered Payments for Associate Membership

NOTE: Balance amount will be paid in equal installments beginning from 1st April thereafter up to 18 years.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP -  Age 7 - 18 years

Deferred Payment for new incoming Junior Members Applicant age should be below 16 years

SENIOR CITIZEN MEMBERSHIP  - age 70 years and above

SERVICE MEMBERSHIP - 3 Years

Applicable to Commissioned officers of Army / Navy/ Air Force / IAS and all Central Govt. Cadres

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP - Applicable to those who are non-resident of Greater Mumbai

EXPATRIATE MEMBERSHIP - Applicable to those who are non-resident of India

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP - 10 Years -  nominees each

A company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 as amended from time to time or any other institution or corporation incorporated under any law in force either in India or abroad but having an office within the limits of greater Mumbai. (but excluding a co-operative society registered under any law relating to co-operative societies) or any Foreign Consulate or High Commissioned office in Mumbai or any other body whether incorporated or not and having an office in Mumbai.

FEES To TRANSFER THE FOLLOWING MEMBERSHIP

Note: A member who has been an Associate Member for a minimum period of 5 years shall be entitled to apply for election as Life or Ordinary Member The applicant for Ordinary / Life Membership must have a minimum of 54 rides per year for 3 consecutive years or a cumulative of 162 rides over last 3years.

HOW TO APPLY FOR NEW MEMBERSHIP

Application forms are available at the club office. Forms should be filled and submitted within 3 months from the date of issue, duly proposed and seconded by 2 members who shall have been Patrons/Life/Ordinary/Associate (who are not members of the Managing Committee). If the Managing Committee member knows the prospective member, he can put his information in the reference details and the form can be Proposed and Seconded by other Members with the length of time known as ‘Just Met’.

The Proposer and Seconder must be a member for a minimum period of 3 years while signing the application membership form. Temporary/Service/Expatriate members wishing to become members of the club need not necessarily know the Proposer or Seconder for the minimum period stipulated. Either the Proposer or the Seconder MUST accompany the candidate at the time of interview.

Foreigners wishing to take Membership of the Club will forward their application duly signed by their Employers/Head of Department. The same rule is also applicable to Service membership.

The application form must be accompanied by the requisite fee as stated above preferably by Cheque which will be considered as Earnest Money. On acceptance of the applicant as a member by the Committee, after a Sub-Committee interview, the earnest money will be treated as entrance fee.

In case an applicant is not found acceptable by the Managing Committee, the earnest money will be refunded. In such an event the amount of the bill for the club’s facility enjoyed by the applicant in the meanwhile, will be deducted from the amount paid, at the prevailing rate as charged for the guests and the balance amount if any, will be refunded.

Candidate for membership to the club who have paid the requisite fees with the application are entitled to commence riding immediately afterwards, if so desired, pending acceptance of their membership.

Riding age for enrolment of a member is 7 years of age and above.

NOTES

1. Advance 14 minimum rides are charged to all members as on 1st April each year along with annual subscription. This amount will be credited towards the first 14rides.

2. Members are allowed to introduce Guest not more than 6 times in a calendar month by the same or different members at the Riding Ground / Club House.

3. Horse Owner Members / Senior Citizens are exempted from minimum rides.

4. Life/Patron Members are exempted from annual subscription. 

5. Senior Citizens will also enjoy concession in riding rates which will be 50% of the prevailing riding rate. Annual Subscription in their cases is 1,200/- per annum.

6. Membership is not TRANSFERABLE from one member of the family to another. It can however be transferred from one spouse to another in case of death provided the member had a standing of 10 years and above.

7. Member’s children (daughter & son) can avail of a family membership up to 18 years of age only.

8. Annual Subscription falls due on 1st April of each year payablewithin60 days after which interest is chargeable @ 2%.
